BARTON, Dean born on June 10, 1926 in Brandon Manitoba, passed away with his wife at his side, on March 4, 2003 at the Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, B.C.
Dean will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Phyllis, children Leigh (Jerry), Jack (Kim & Don) grandchildren Michael, Susan, Andrea, Rebecca, Lori, Jennifer, Douglas; his sister Eleanor Wightman of Regina. Dean was an employee of Imperial Oil Limited, based in Vancouver and then Edmonton, for 35 years before retiring with Phyllis to White Rock.
A gathering of family and friends was held on Tuesday, March 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Fraser Heights Funeral Home 14835 Fraser Highway, Surrey, B.C. Donation, in lieu of flowers may be made to the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation, White Rock, B.C. in recognition of our gratitude to the staff of the emergency and 4th floor wards.
