Doreen COWL

COWL, Doreen Lillian, (aka ''The Sausage Lady'' at Langley grocery stores). Born January 3, 1932 in Toronto, Ontario passed away peacefully on February 28, 2004 from cancer at Langley Memorial Hospital at the age of 72.

Predeceased by husband, James Albert. Survived by sons Steven (Barbara) and Paul (Karen), daughter Cindy and six grandchildren, Samantha, Spencer, Kevin, Shelby, Katie and Curtis.

Doreen was a secretary for the Ontario public school system and then taught organ lessons for many years in Langley and was a demonstrator for Van Fancy.

We will remember her love of life, generous nature and the jovial way she lived day to day.

A Service of Remembrance on Saturday, March 6 at 4:30 p.m. at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, 20955 Old Yale Rd., Langley (corner of Fraser Hwy and 208th - Langley Bypass). Should friends desire, donations to Langley Memorial Hospital, Palliative Care Unit.
