BOWELL: Douglas John - born May 13, 1925 passed away peacefully May 22, 2005 in Langley Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.
He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife of 35 years, Judy; his sister Thelma Carter; his daughters Diane, Donna, Jackie and Kelly; son Doug and their families, including 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; his niece and special friend Peggy and many other dear relatives and friends.
Special thanks to the nurses in ICU at LMH; and Dr. Willman for the wonderful care and compassion shown in the final days of Doug's life.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Henderson's Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway, Langley. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to Big Brothers and Sisters of Langley, 20558 Fraser Highway, Langley, V3A 4G2.
