March 24, 1943 - December 3, 2019
With great sadness we announce the passing of Eileen McCutcheon (Wilson) on December 3, 2019. She is predeceased by her parents, Norm and Marguerite Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Doug McCutcheon as well as her son, Steve Rooney (Corina), grandchildren, Reese and Callie, and daughter, Shannon Rooney (Gary), grandchildren, Carter, Everett and London. She is also survived by her two sisters, Helen Moats and Iris (Chris) Ralston.
Eileen was born on March 24, 1943 in South Langley and lived most of her life on the farm there until she moved with Doug to Armstrong in 1996. They loved their life there and spent their time building their beekeeping business, gardening, and making friends with their neighbors.
Eileen's grandchildren were the joy of her life and she spent as much time with each of them as she could. She loved sharing her baking, gardening, and sewing skills with them, and many babies were gifted with her amazing quilts over the years.
