It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Evelyn, after a courageous and hard fought battle against cancer. Missing her now are her husband, Jim, daughter Rebecca (Dave) Lowrey, grandson Matthew Lowrey, daughter Jacqueline (Joey) Courchesne, and daughter Emily Neufeld; her mother Helen Friesen, sisters Marlene Friesen, Linda Wiens and Diane Braun, mother-in-law Sue Neufeld, and her many beloved sisters and brothers-in-laws, nieces and nephews, and friends. Evelyn was a self-sacrificing, loving wife and mother to her family. She cherished spending time in her garden and her kind heart led to a career in Early Childhood Education. Her passing leaves a hole in many lives and her memory will live on brightly through those she touched with her love and warm spirit. She will be deeply missed. A celebration of Evelyn's life will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 11:30am at South Langley MB Church, 20098 - 22 Avenue, Langley, BC.
