On December 14, surrounded by her loving family, Eve's battle with cancer ended, and her soul left this earth to be with her Saviour, Jesus. Eve was known for her adventurous spirit, kindness, compassion, her creativity and her love for those who were unloved or in need. It's this spirit that led her to volunteer with World Vision and to create ministries such as Wee Care (which led to a special bond with Tracey, Lauren and Shania) and Backpacks for the homeless.
Eve's love and laughter will be greatly missed by her children, Tracy, Mark (Siobhan), Alison (Shawn) and Dale, as well as her 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a brother Chris (Pippa) and nieces and nephews in England. We would like to thank the 5th floor staff at Langley Lodge for their compassionate care for our mother during her final months.
A Celebration of Eve's Life will be held January 12, 2019 at Pacific Community Church, 5337 180th St., Surrey, BC at 1:00 pm. Refreshments to follow.
