Born April 6, 1933 in Spiritwood, Saskatchewan passed away September 10, 2018 at the age of 85 years, in St. Paul's Hospital, Vancouver, with son Michael, daughter Barbara, son-in-law Kirk and youngest daughter Beverly by his side.
Nels will be lovingly remembered by; children, Terry, Michael, Barbara (Kirk) and Beverly (Colin); grandchildren Russel, Rhonda (Steve), Raymond and Cora; great grandchildren, Aidan, Taylor and Amelia.
Nels was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Vera, his elder siblings brother John, sister Johanna, and sister Pearl. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Nels' life was held at Henderson's Langley Funeral Home on Monday September 17,2018 with a luncheon and graveside service afterwards at Langley Lawn Cemetery 208th Street, Langley.
The family wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to the extensive kind and caring medical team and staff who respectfully tended to Dad in his final days at St. Paul's Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Paul's Hospital in Nels' name would be appreciated.
