BRAR, Gurprem Singh passed away peacefully at the age of 70, surrounded by his family on May 5, 2009. Born in India, he came to Canada in 1970 and settled in Langley where he raised his family and worked in a sawmill. He is survived by his loving wife Harjinder, son Diljinder (Rashpal), two daughters Kiran (Saroop), Ruby (Jeevan) and grandchildren Mya, Henna and Justin. He was dedicated, hardworking and loved by all those who knew him. A tremendous thanks to Dr. Chapman for his genuine care and compassion. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 10 at Five Rivers Funeral Home at 7410 Hopcott Road, Delta at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
