HJORDIS INGEBORG KENT, born in Helsinki, Finland, May 2, 1924, passed away suddenly, at the Langley Memorial Hospital, from pneumonia. She went to be with the Lord, on March 26, 2008, at the age of 83. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Redy, and will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Reet (Don), and her two sons, Richard (Riina) and Rein (Anita), four grandchildren, Rena, Tim (Rhonda), Chad (Andrea) and Kristi, along with six great grandchildren Taija, Reece, Riley, Brayden, Kayley and Kayleb, as well as many, many dears friends and other family members. Special thanks to Dr. K. Ng, Dr. Clunas and the nurses and staff at the Langley Memorial Hospital, 4th floor, for their care during her illness. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 10:30am, at the First Memorial Funeral Services, 27555, 31st Avenue, in Aldergrove, BC, Pastor Ted Boodle officiating. In lieu of flowers, in memory of Hjordis, donations can be made to the West Wind Church Mission Fund, in Cloverdale, BC, or to the Diabetes Association.
