Janis MCGINN

June 20, 2007

MCGINN, Janis aged 52 years.

After a long battle with cancer, she went home to Jesus from Langley Memorial Hospital on Wednesday June 20, 2007. Janis is survived by her husband, Tim Roxburgh; daughters Alana and Natalie; her mother and father, Beulah(Sharen) and Alex McGinn; her brother John of Salem, Oregon, his wife Laurel and their children Kaylie and Aaron; her sister Judy of Spokane,

Washington, her husband Rodney and their children Shawna, Stacy, Amanda, and Valarie. There are also many other relatives in Canada and the United States. Janis was born in Goshen, Indiana and spent most of her early years in Spokane, Washington. At a very young age she developed an intense love of horses and horsemanship, a love she kept with her until the last and which was only moderated by the birth of her children and her love of them. For the last 28 years Janis lived in the Township of Langley. She was employed as a bus driver for Coast Mountain Bus Company and its predecessor companies back to B.C. Hydro for 32 years. Janis will be sadly missed by all her family and her many friends. A very shy and private person, Janis touched the hearts of everyone she knew and loved. She was a person of immense love who shared her love selflessly. Janis, we love you and miss you. In lieu of flowers, donations to the:

Lions Gate Hospital Foundation directed to Dr. Paul Klimo's Chemotherapy Clinic at 231 East 15th St., North Vancouver, B.C. V7L2L7, The Canadian Cancer Society, The Clyde Ride in Langley, Horse Rescue, Disabled Riding Foundations and/or other animal assistance foundations would be appreciated. A celebration of her life will be held at Willoughby Christian Reformed Church at 20525 72nd Ave., in

Langley on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 2 pm.
