MILLER, JEAN PEARL

Jean Miller, died peacefully at the age of 90 years in her Aldergrove home. She was predeceased in 1973 by her husband Nelson Angus Miller and is survived by their three children Ronald, Marlene and Donald, their spouses, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She also leaves three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews throughout Canada.
Jean was born in a small prairie town in Manitoba but moved to the Fraser Valley in January 1949 with her husband and family. She worked for many years in the Langley Memorial Hospital kitchen staff, finally retiring as the head cook. She retired with Nelson to Aldergrove and after Nelson's death settled in her small home where she resided for the remainder of her life.
At Jean's request a small private family gathering was held to honor her life. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean's memory may be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
