Ken passed away February 1, 2024, surrounded by his family. Survived by his wife of 58 years Penny, daughter Tammy, son Todd, daughter-in-law Adele and grandchildren James, Blake, Karen, Anna, and Brady.
Ken was born in Regina, SK where he grew up and met Penny. Ken & Penny were married in Regina in 1965. Ken attended the University of Saskatchewan where he studied engineering and later earned his Masters of Engineering from the University of Alberta.
Ken and Penny lived in several provinces, ending up in Langley where Ken retired from Stantec in 2006.
Ken shared his love of the outdoors with his children and grandchildren teaching them how to camp, canoe, fish and golf. Ken was active in Langley golfing, curling and with the Langley fermenters wine club.
A celebration of life will be held this summer. Memorial donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation or Ostomy Canada Society.
