With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kristy at home. She was raised in Langley and attended Bradshaw Elementary and graduated from Brookswood Secondary. Predeceased by her brother Shawn(2001) Survived by her parents Mark and Kathy, sister Leah(Paul) Chambers, her niece Lily, her best little helper and her grandmother Audrey Godin.
Over the years Kristy held her own fundraisers and raised close to $100,000 to Muscular Dystrophy Canada for Friedreich's Ataxia Research, the disease that she had. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to her favorite charities Make-a-Wish and Muscular Dystrophy Canada. We would like to Thank her Care Aides for their wonderful care and compassion. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
