In Loving Memory ~

Larry Martin Ahlstrom, born February 4, 1943 and passed away March 8, 2024 at the age of 81 after a sudden illness.

Surrounded by his loving family during his final days, they gathered to share stories, laughter and love, creating cherished memories.

Larry leaves behind a legacy cherished by his children: Robert (Deanna), Tami (Alan) and Tracy (Russ), as well as his grandchildren Alan, Cherise, Rebecca, Brandi, Nicole and numerous great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to his life.

Survived by sisters Doreen (Fred), Sandy and Linnea whom cherished their "Steely" blue-eyed brother dearly.

Larry was predeceased by his beloved wife Carol, sister Linda, brother-in-law's Bob and Stan and brother Dave.

Larry will be fondly remembered for his kindness, razor-sharp wit, witty one-liners and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. As a dedicated member of UA Local 170 for 60 years, Larry took immense pride in his work as a union plumber/pipefitter.

In accordance with Larry's wishes, his ashes will be spread in the Caribou at Green Lake. His wife Carol, affectionately known as "Nana" had her ashes spread there as well, fulfilling their shared love for the area.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses, doctors and caregivers at Abbotsford Regional Hospital for their compassionate care during Larry's illness.
