ELLIOTT: Lorane (nee Gesy). On June 29, 2004, Lorane Elliott passed away peacefully, after a struggle with Alzheimer's.

Lorane was born March 6, 1919 in Elrose, Saskatchewan. She was raised in Elrose, moved to Tisdale, Saskatchewan in 1959, and retired in Langley, British Columbia in 1976.

Lorane was known for her caring and giving spirit. Over her lifetime, she provided support and assistance to the elderly, her church and small children. She took great joy in these activities. She also enjoyed nature, music, walking, collecting poetry and time with her family and friends.

Lorane is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Walter, her son Lynn (Dorothy), her daughter Marlene and her sister Nelda. She was predeceased by her daughter Janice, her brother Glen and her sister Lu.

The interment is at Langley Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, #201-1320 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario, M4T 1X2.
