BURKHOLDER, Major Grace passed away April 5, 2008. She will be remembered as a compassionate and giving heart, completely devoted to her service to God through officership in the Salvation Army, her family and fellow man. She was predeceased by her loving husband Ernie and daughter Linda Murrian. Grace will be deeply missed by her daughter Dianne Sutherland (Bruce), daughter Wendy; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers Harry Christman; Norman Christman; sisters Miriam Schafer, Elenor Rea and Carol Brigden. A celebration of Grace's Life will be held on Friday April 11, 2008 at 1 pm, with a visitation to begin at 12:00 pm, from Henderson's Langley Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Hwy, Langley. In lieu of flowers donations in memory may be made to the Langley Lodge, 5451 204 Street in Langley with great thanks for the very special care extended to our mother and our family in her final days.
