Margaret Barclay HUNTER

March 9, 2005

HUNTER - Margaret Barclay (nee Cross), passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 9, 2005 at the age of 75. Margaret is survived by her loving husband and companion of 52 years, Donald, and her six children: Lorne (Charlotte), Lynn (Jack), Brian (Cathy), Terry (Marcia), Karen and Peter (Anita) and her eleven grandchildren. Marg was a valued member of the Langley School District, teaching and touching young lives for 20 years. She had such a positive impact on so many people, young and old. She was so full of life and love for all things. She was creative and tireless in all the things she did - family, photography, knitting, quilting, hiking, volunteering and wilderness preservation. She lived her life to the fullest. There was always another corner to hike around, another sweater to knit, another thing to learn and experience. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A special thank you goes out to Jane and all of the trauma room staff of the Royal Columbian Hospital for the support and comfort in our time of grief.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, March 15 at Henderson's Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the BC Children's Hospital in Marg's name would be gratefully accepted.
