Marilee Bond (Nee Trost)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marilee Anita Bond on April 10th, 2015. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Allan Bond, her daughter Michelle Ross and her four beloved granddaughters, Kaleigh, Brooklyn, Aliyah and Sierrah also surviving are Allan's father George Bond, her parents Don and Merle Trost, her brothers Terry and Glenn as well as four nieces and one nephew, uncles, aunts and cousins. Marilee is pre-deceased by her infant son Aaron in 1973. Marilee was born on July 22, 1951 in Port Arthur (Thunder Bay), Ontario, where she lived until her marriage to Allan in 1972. She and Allan then moved to Langley, BC where they made their home since. She spent many happy vacations with her family and her parents at Trout Lake, Thunder Bay. Her magnetic personality and cheerful smiles drew so many wonderful friends close to her over the years who also mourn her loss. Marilee had been fighting a long and courageous battle with cancer for many years, however; she faced each day with her trademark optimistic attitude. It was Marilee’s lifelong faith in Jehovah God’s promise of a resurrection to his Kingdom on earth that sustained her during her days of illness. In lieu of flowers, a consideration to the Langley Hospice, Maple Hill Centre would be appreciated. Her memorial will be held on Saturday April 25th at 2 p.m. at the Langley Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 20241-68th Avenue, East auditorium.
