COLLINS, Ralph James. Passed away peacefully on September 6th, 2005 in Langley Memorial Hospital at the age of 82.
Ralph was predeceased by wife Mary and brother Stan. He is survived by his siter Alice and sister-in-law May.
''Gramps'' will be greatly missed by son Steve (Doreen), daughter Marjorie (Murray), son Fred (Lesley), grandchildren Scott (Joely), Chris (Melanie), Brian (Michelle), Lori (Tim), Marni, Kristi, Ashley and Jeff. Great grandchildren Quinton, Jakob, Liz, Daylan and Kayla. Nieces Barb (Frank) and Carol, grandnephew Doug and many other family and friends.
Ralph enjoyed camping, golf and gardening. He truly loved his job, co-workers and students during his 20 years with the Burnaby School Board, where he was affectionately known as ''Gramps''.
A celebration of Ralph's life will be held on Saturday, September 17th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial St., Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be mad to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
The family would like to thank the staff at Rosewood and Marwood Extended Care and Langley Memorial Hospital.
