HILLER - Robert Gerald
Born September 9, 1922 in Montreal, Quebec passed away peacefully December 31, 2009 at Langley Memorial Hospital. Gerald was a WWII Veteran and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion - Cloverdale Branch # 6. He worked for many years at Bell Canada and retired in 1980. He moved to B.C. in 1986 to be with his children. Gerald had a great sense of humor and was known as "the joker". Gerald will be lovingly remembered by his children Linda, Danny, Karen and Cathy (Brad), grandchildren Jen (Tim), Kim, Sara, James and Savannah, brother Lorne (Anne), sisters Margaret and Betty (Bill) and his numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his ex-wife Betty and his many friends. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. Predeceased by his son Gordon in 1994 and his brother Jim in 2003. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday January 12 at 1:00 pm at Fraser Heights Chapel 14835 Fraser Hwy., Surrey. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Gerald''s memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
