ZIHRUL; Theodore, known as Ted, died peacefully on Wednesday, November 22 at Langley Memorial Hospital after suffering a third stroke. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Doreen, his children Judy (Gary) Bowen of Lee Creek, Brad (Rene) Zihrul of Campbell River, Carla Wolf of Vancouver; his grandchildren Larissa (Jonathan) Visbach, David (Amy) McMurtry, Jason Fuller, Ryan Zihrul and Sonya Zihrul; great grandchildren Zemeirah Visbach; and many more relatives and friends. Born 1923 in Dauphin MB on the family farm, he moved his young family to Vancouver in 1958 but he never forgot his prairie roots. He was an avid gardener of both plants and people and cultivated many important and meaningful relationships throughout his life. We will miss his guidance and gentle wisdom. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 27 at 2 pm at Valley View Funeral Home, 14660-72 Avenue, Surrey. A celebration of Ted's life will follow at the family home.
