MITCHENER ~ William (Bill)
Born September 24, 1935 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, passed away unexpectedly July 17, 2008 returning from a day of golf, his favourite summer pastime. Bill was father to Kelly, Allen, and Michael; dear brother to Jim, Shirley, Beryl and Jack; pre- deceased by his sister Mavis; grand- father to Michael, David and Preston; favoured uncle to numerous nephews and nieces; and dearly missed by his best friend Tres. As the anchor of the family, his wisdom, strength, guidance and ever present humour, will be hard to replace. Bill will be missed by his large group of golf friends in summer, ski friends in winter and all his other close friends. A Memorial service was held on July 22, 2008. As per Bill’s wishes, his ashes will be scattered around his beloved west coast.
