Editor: I am writing in regards to the two Langley boys missing at Nicola Lake.

In four years of attending Langley Secondary, I’ve never seen the school like this. It’s quiet. It is as if not being loud will allow us to hear their footsteps in the halls, if they were to come back.

We’re all hoping they will, but we’re expecting the worst. People go missing every day, and yet we don’t acknowledge it unless we know them personally.

I grew up with one of the boys. I also played hockey with both of them and they were certainly the ones to watch. Hopefully they are found and get home safe.
