Hall letter strikes chord

The environment has taken a back seat to profit. Greed has taken over and it’s not leaving any time soon.

Editor: Beverly Hall’s letter to the editor (The Times, May 3) pretty much hit the nail on the head for me. I agree fully with most of her points.

All the politicians are concerned about is their generous pensions. The corporations are concerned with maximum profits at all and any cost.

The environment has taken a back seat to profit. Greed has taken over and it’s not leaving any time soon.

I just feel sorry for the next generation that’s inheriting all of this.
