Letter: Aldergrove off-leash park needs attention

Editor: The letter regarding exclusiveness of dog park usage has struck a nerve.

As an Aldergrove resident of over 25 years, I have bemoaned the destruction of the Aldergrove off-leash park. It has gone from a verdant green facility to  gravelly dirt.

There is no succor from the heat, the tables are out in the open and, in summer, are very uncomfortable to sit on.

The recently added water hole is nowhere near the area in which the dogs gather — usual Township planning.

The highly anticipated  bowl south of the off-leash area is a ghost facility.

Perhaps a clear thinker in the Township could turn a large portion of the unused grassland into an off-leash area. One can only hope.
