Can someone explain to me how it is that gas prices in Langley Township can rise 16 cents in less than one week?
For the better part of December, the price of gas at the stations at 216th Avenue and Fraser Highway were about $1.179/L, then on Dec. 29, on my way home from work (about 4 p.m.), I saw they were at $1.259/L. The next day, at about 9:30 a.m., they were charging $133.9/L.
The price of a barrel of oil over the past couple of months has been ranging between $93 and $99ish. So how can the price can change so dramatically without “gouging?â€
It is nothing more than greed… and they wonder why so many of us head to the USA for gasoline.
