Dear Editor,
After reading former councillor Grant Ward’s letter and learning of his low opinion of Councillor Richter’s qualifications for office of mayor, I feel I must say that any councillor who records the second highest number of votes in the last (2014) election — as Councillor Richter did— certainly qualifies to run in the coming election for council’s highest office. Mr. Ward has erred.
