Letter: No excuse for treatment of patient in this day and age

It wouldn’t leave my mind, it bothered me to know that this would still happen today.

The circumstances that this lady found herself in were made much worse by none other than our medical system.

If this lady was having a knee replacement, did she not have any information on her, or furthermore, did the hospital not have her in their computer?

The nurse who dealt with this problem should not have assumed that this person was homeless; and even so, if she were, aren’t health care people supposed to assist anyone who needs help without judging them?

This lady was caused unnecessary grief.

No one should be treated like this in a hospital. This health provider (nurse) should consider a new occupation.
