Editor: Subtle death traps are set for tourists and others in our country.
In Hot Springs, AK, I rode an amphibious duck with a canopy from land to a lake. A while later it sank with many casualties. Recently, a duck boat in Missouri sank with many lives lost.
A tourist and I went whale-watching in Tofino, in 14-foot waves, but no life jackets could be seen. There was a large box on the rear of the ship with a heavy cover that I could not lift. Perhaps they were in there.
The mother of all deathtraps are the boats in Niagara Falls. Hundreds of people with no life-jackets stand on the deck which makes it top-heavy and easy to capsize. They then go right near some of the most turbulent waters on the planet.
Do they have some way to retrieve bodies as they float down the Niagara River?
