I would to take this opportunity to say thank-you to Langley City and Langley Environmental Partners Society (LEPS) for hosting Earth Day 2024 on Saturday, April 20, in Douglas Park.
The turnout was great with everyone enjoying the beautiful day as well, learning how to upcycle. Being an up-cycle artist myself, it was a great honour to be apart of the Upcycle Challenge, and win first place in adult category with my tarp raincoat and hat, and meeting all the others who took part in this wonderful event.
