Letter: Wants of one business should not trump the needs of many

Editor: How can Metro Vancouver justify the wants of one business (Ebco and their air quality application) as overriding the needs of the businesses around them?

This is not an industrial area, it is agricultural.

These farms won’t be able to produce their organic goods with these emissions affecting the air, soil and water around them.

We are all going to suffer health consequences from the contaminants Ebco wants to put into our air, soil and water.

Agricultural land is not the right place for heavy industry.

If manufacturers want to move into the area then they need to be prepared to have zero emissions and should be held to that standard by Metro Vancouver.
