Editor: Today my mom and I went to the ravine beside our townhouse to clean up garbage.
When we got down there my mom said, “I don’t see much garbage.” But when we walked a little farther we saw more and more.
We found a sock, Slurpee cups, broken glass and more. We found so much garbage it filled up three plastic bags and that was only in a small area.
I feel happy about cleaning the ravine, but I feel sad that people would throw their garbage in the ravine and not even care a little.
I do it because it is good for the environment. Please don’t be a litter bug and help the Earth.
