Champions will be crowned next month at Willoughby Community Park as Langley hosts the 2013 B.C. youth provincial A Cup soccer championships.

Teams from six different regions of the province — more than 800 players — will compete for championships in the U13 to U18 age groups.

"Langley United is pleased to welcome all players, coaches, officials, parents and volunteers," said Dave Kasper, the president of the Langley United Soccer Association, which is hosting the championships.

"We think the B.C. soccer community will be impressed by the scale of the facilities available in Langley for the championships and we look forward to playing host to everyone during this championship weekend."

The preliminary round action in each division will take place July 4 to 6 will all of the age group finals being held on July 7. There will also be opening ceremonies on July 5 at 5 p.m. and closing ceremonies following the final championship.

A full schedule will be released closer to the event.
