The Langley Blaze offence came alive on Sunday to help end a six-game losing streak.
The Blaze bats erupted for a combined 22 runs as they swept a doubleheader against the Nanaimo Pirates at McLeod Park.
Langley won 11-1 and 11-4 to improve to 7-6 in the B.C. Premier Baseball League.
The Blaze had lost 5-1 and 4-1 to the Whalley Chiefs the day before but Kyle Ross took the mound on Sunday and scattered four hits over six innings, striking out eight and walking none.
The offence was keyed by Yi-An Pan who had three doubles and five RBIs. Michael Stovman drove in a pair while Yi-Fan Pan, Austin Hardie, Cole Cantelon and Jesse Unger had one RBI apiece.
And the offence picked up where it left off in game two of the doubleheader, cranking out another 11 runs on 14 hits.
Rhys Cratty, Hardie, Cantelon and Daniel Berg drove in two runs apiece while Stovman had one RBI.
Kyle Prather came on in the fifth inning and picked up the win. He struck out four of the nine batters he faced.
Against Whalley the day before, the Blaze were limited to a combined two runs.
Yi-An Pan had a solo home run in the first game while Berg had an RBI double in game two.
Langley heads to Victoria to take on the Eagles for a doubleheader on Saturday.
