The Langley Blaze offence continues its red-hot play.
The Blaze put up another 11 runs — which gives them 32 in their past three games — as they won their ninth straight game, a 11-1 demolition of the Whalley Chiefs.
The two U18 B.C. Premier Baseball League rivals squared off on May 10 at McLeod Park. Langley is a half-game back of first place with a record of 16-4.
Matt Cratty drove in three runs while going 3-for-4 at the plate. Two of his base hits were doubles.
Bill Germaine also drove in a pair of runs, while Aaron Horanski, Preston Kokotailo, Tyler O'Neill and Mitchell Robinson each brought home one base runner.
Germaine, who also scored three times, leads the league with 17 RBIs in 20 games.
Jon Bauer improved to a league-best 5-0, allowing one run on four hits in four innings.
The Blaze are in Parksville on May 12 for a doubleheader against the Royals (6-11) before hosting the Victoria Eagles (9-8) on May 13 in another two-game set, this time at McLeod Park.
