The Langley Blaze won both on and off the field over the weekend.
On the ball diamond at McLeod Park, Langley received a shutout performance from Justin Geerts on the mound to defeat Edmonton 4-0 in Sunday' championship final of the Blaze's annual tournament.
And off the field, the team raised $2,660 in a fundraiser for the family of one of the organization's former players, who is battling cancer.
