Car raffle proceeds to support Langley high school rugby program

Two thousand tickets at $10 apiece to support Poppy rugby

Ten dollars could win you a car while helping support the D.W. Poppy Redhawks rugby program.

The program is selling 2,000 tickets with the winner receiving a blue 2002 Mazda 5 Protege Hatchback. The vehicle is a five-speed with 167,000 kilometres and it has automatic doors and windows.

The school does have a BC Gaming license for the contest.

To purchase a ticket, stop by the school at 23752 52 Ave. between 8 a.m. and 3:15 p.m.

The winning ticket will be selected Feb. 2.
