Credo Kodiaks top seed for Fraser Valley championships

The Kodiaks won 3-0 to capture top spot in the regular season standings and they will host a Fraser Valley semifinal game on May 17.

The Credo Christian Kodiaks and Langley Christian Lightning are both gunning for a Fraser Valley title.

The senior girls soccer teams are seeded first (Credo) and third (Langley Christian), respectively, for the Fraser Valley 1A championships, which get underway May 12.

The Lightning host No. 6 St. John Brebeuf in one quarter-final game while No. 4 Unity Christian battles No. 5 Khalsa School in the other.

Credo Christian will host the higher seed which prevails in one semifinal while the No. 2 Southridge Storm face the lower seed in the other.

The Kodiaks went 3-0-1 with the tie coming against Langley Christian in the season opener.
