There were plenty of smiles on Sunday morning in Walnut Grove as athletes crossed the finish line.
Nearly 300 youths between the ages of three and 15 took part in the Sun Rype TRi KiDS race.
The miniature triathlon saw the competitors swim in the Walnut Grove Aquatic Centre, a bike ride in the parking lot, and then a run through the parking lot and on the track at Walnut Grove Secondary School.
The race is a non-competitive event designed to be fun, encouraging and a memorable experience for the participants.
