Langley Knights' Nicolas Bizzutto provides a screen in front of the Abbotsford Pilots goal during his team's 3-2 win last week. Bizzutto scored twice in his team's most recent game, a 6-5 overtime loss to the Grandview Steelers on Sunday.

Up 5-2 late in the second period, the Langley Knights could not hold on, falling 6-5 in overtime to the Grandview Steelers on Sunday afternoon in junior B Pacific Junior Hockey League action.

The game was played at the Burnaby Winter Club and the Knights were looking for their first two-game winning streak of the season.

And the team looked to be in good shape after Nicolas Bizzutto made it a 5-2 game with 5:20 to play in the middle period.

But Braedon Gurney cut the lead to 5-3 before the intermission and then pulled the Steelers to within a goal at 2:54 of the third. Both goals came with the man advantage.

And Lucas Santucci tied things up less than seven minutes later.

The comeback was complete when Grandview's Adam Rota beat Cole Forbes on a penalty shot at 4:30 of overtime.

Forbes finished the game 38 saves.

Lincoln Lane had two first-period power play goals for the Knights while William Nomura and Jeevan Dosanghe had the other scores.

Jeffrey Wong and Brandon Volpe had the Steelers' other goals.

Langley is back in action on Nov. 26 as they host the North Vancouver Wolf Pack at the George Preston Recreation Centre.
