The Langley All-Stars are representing B.C. at the Canadian Little League majors (11-12) baseball championships in North Vancouver.

The Langley All-Stars were limited to two base hits, but made sure to make them count.

After Nick Atkinson reached base in the sixth inning with a walk, Yi-Fan Pan belted a two-run home run to break a scoreless tie. And the two-run shot was huge as Mount Seymour got one run back in the bottom half of the inning on an RBI double from Marshall Hogan.

But that would be all as Pan came on in relief of his twin brother, Yi-An Pan to record the final two outs and send Langley through to Saturday's (Aug. 13) championship final. The 11/12 year-old Canadian national championships ar being held at North Vancouver's Chris Zuehlke Memorial Park.

Langley, the second seed, faces No. 4 Valleyfield, the Quebec champions, who upset the top-seed from Ontario, High Park, 4-3 in the other semifinal.

During round robin play, Langley edged Valleyfield 4-3.

The championship final is Saturday at 1 p.m. with the winner representing Canada at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.
