Austin Plevy is on the radar for the upcoming National Hockey League draft.

The 18-year-old product of the Langley Minor Hockey Association was on the NHL Central Scouting preliminary rankings for junior hockey players on Tuesday (Nov. 20).

Plevy was given a C rating, which indicates a fourth/fifth/sixth round candidate for the June 2013 NHL draft. He was one of 14 BCHL players to be named.

Plevy is third in scoring for the Chilliwack Chiefs. He has 11 goals and 26 points in 21 BCHL games so far this season.

The 5-10, 175-pound forward played his first two seasons of junior A hockey in Langley with 17 goals and 55 points in 111 games.

Plevy was also invited to the Canada West training camp earlier this month for the World Junior A Challenge.
