Trinity Western Spartans’ middle distance runner Regan Yee has achieved the necessary qualifying time in the 3000m steeplechase for the IAAF world junior championships.
She was competing at the Payton Jordan Invitational, placing 11th with a time of 10:39.79. She needed to better 10:50.00.
Yee will compete at the world junior championship in Eugene, Ore. from July 22 to July 27.
