At age 80, drivers in B.C. must begin undergoing a medical assessment every two years and submitting their doctor’s report to RoadSafety B.C.
The agency uses the information provided in the Driver Medical Examination Report as one tool to assess the senior’s fitness to drive and to determine whether further steps, such as re-testing, are required.
Is this assessment sufficient, or do you support the mandatory re-testing of senior drivers once they reach a specific age?
