Roxanne Hooper

Roxanne Hooper

I began in the news industry at age 15, starting my career in Langley – at the then Langley Advance. But honestly, I knew I wanted to be a community journalist even before that. During the past 40+ years in the industry, I have worked for news outlets in Abbotsford, Mission, Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows and Kamloops.

Through all my years in the media world – as a reporter and now an editor of this fine community news outlet – I have always held a strong passion for sharing stories about the people in our town. I look forward to hearing from you about your local story ideas.
