What's in Store

Earlier this month, I offered justification to eat a DQ Blizzard and a White Spot Pirate Pak, but today I’m giving you reason to chow down on a Teen Burger.

Today (Thursday), the A&W restaurants in Langley (Willowbrook, Walnut Grove, Murrayville, and Aldergrove) are hosting the seventh annual Cruisin’ to End MS.

A dollar from each of the Teen Burgers sold will go to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. And, the best part is that most restaurants across the country that can, will also host a car show in connection with the fundraiser. So guests can check out some awesome classic and hot rod cars, enjoy some live entertainment, play some games, and, of course, eat. For more: cruisintoendms.ca.

And, speaking of food, Loblaws is expanding its footprint in our area. A new No Frills grocery store, owned by Glenn Scott, is holding its grand opening on Aug. 28 at 177th Street and 56th Avenue in Cloverdale.
