Langley Elks are holding a hotdog fundraiser this Saturday at the Save-On-Foods in Langley City.

The Elks Club has always been a service organization focused on helping families, and in particular children in need.

Kids are once again the focus of the local organization’s efforts, with a food- and fundraiser, as well as a hotdog sale, being planned this weekend in downtown Langley City.

The food drive is being held this coming Saturday, Nov. 19 in the Save-On-Foods parking lot, at 20151 Fraser Hwy., with members collecting money and non-perishable food for the Sources Langley Food Bank from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

As well, the team will be selling hotdogs by donation, with all money raised from their grilling efforts also going to the food bank, said the Elks’ second vice-president Karen Anderson.

Langley Elks #259 has its clubhouse in Brookswood, and is always looking for new members. For information, people can call Lynn at 604-427-1939 or email at langleyelks@gmail.com.
