The 15th annual Municipal Awareness Day was held in the Langleys Wednesday, April 26 and Thursday, April 27.

At Langley Township’s Civic Facility, about 1,800 students in Grades 1 to 4 visited a variety of stations Thursday, including getting to climb aboard some fire trucks.

Students also got to try out being road crews (at least they got to wear the orange vests and hold the stop signs) and to visit the council chambers.

Langley City students got to tour City Hall and take part in a number of activities on the Wednesday.
