“Weather permitting, some of our vintage aircraft will be open and guests can climb in and let their imaginations soar,” she said.

Volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions and share stories about the museum’s aircraft.

Aldor Acres is bringing some fluffy bunnies, which will be available for petting (gently), and a local blacksmith will make a souvenir to take home.

The museum is typically closed in Feburary, noted Grace Muller, vice-president and co-chair on the museum development committee.

The Family Day events began after the pandemic when families were looking for things to do together.

“The farm museum decided to open for Family Day and organized a fun family event with the assistance of a B.C. government grant. The response has been awesome,” Muller shared.

In addition to the activities, cupcakes will also be served.

Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.
