Anthony Catonio and Velma Molnar of Langley are making plans to spend $1 million they won this weekend on the 6/49.

A Langley pair will be chilling in Mexico soon, with plans to buying a red convertible and a house.

Velma Molnar and Anthony Catonio are doing some serious daydreaming after winning $1 million in Saturday’s 6/49 lottery.

“I feel like my head is in ‘Cloud 6/49’,” Molnar said when picking up her prize.

“This is the best day of my life. Anything is possible!”

The winning ticket was purchased at Rusty’s Neighbourhood Pub in Cloverdale, and already as the reality of their windfall sinks in, the pair is planning on a big shopping spree and long vacation.

“I’m going to buy a house and travel to Mexico,” said Catonio. “We’re going to trade snow and turkey for sand and lobster this Christmas!”

Meanwhile, Molnar also has her sights set on  new wheels.

“I’m thinking a new red convertible and a pair of red leather driving gloves!”

Lotto 6/49 is a nationwide lottery game drawn on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with each draw includes a guaranteed prize draw of $1 million.
